Just my little corner of the fat activism blog world. A place to gather inspiration for my upcoming thesis project.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
My last set of papers dolls! Well, I might draw more for fun later, but this is the last for the class I’m taking. Didn’t have time to draw them new shoes however! Dresses from left to right are Christopher Kane Spring 2011, Jeremy Scott Fall 2011 RTW, and Betsey Johnson Spring 2011 RTW. The theme of the outfits is outfits I would choose to wear for a spring event, possibly Easter.
I haven’t shown you guys any paper dolls in a while! So here’s a set based on the whole bondage trend. From left to right, Vivienne Westwood Red Label jacket, Modcloth skirt, Asos dress, Asos Curve t-shirt dress, not sure where that harness is from and all the shoes are from various designers available at Barefoot Tess, a shoe place only for us girlies with big feet! I uploaded a pic of reference photos here.
More paper dolls for this week! I can’t remember the designers used for this week, but I have uploaded the inspiration for the outfits here.
Paper dolls for this week! Swim suit theme! The red suit is from Norma Kamali, the middle suit is from unknown (it might actually be a vintage under-thing, not a suit), the suit on the right is an old Anthropologie suit. I want it for myself!
Here are my dressed paper dolls for last week’s class. They are all dressed in straight sized clothes, I’m not sure of the origin of the redhead’s dress and the middle one, but the left dress is from topshop. The shoes are from left to right: Shakuhachi, Asos, and Louboutin. I will probably use straight size fashion every week just because there are so many clothes I wish would fit us fatties, but are sadly only in smaller sizes.
I reworked my fashion dolls! Gonna make some clothes for them tomorrow. :3
